Melissa Rose Lafleur, MD, CWSP

Dr. Melissa Rose Lafleur (Dr. Rose), is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Wound Care, and describes herself as a holistic physician, practicing at the intersection of mind, body and spirit. Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, wound care, global health and attention to the underserved.

Dr. Lafleur completed her undergraduate studies at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and attended medical school at Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba. She completed her Internal Medicine residency as well as a Wound Care fellowship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Lafleur personally understands that we do not all have the same experiences with our healthcare system and she is deeply committed to ensuring that all patients receive the compassionate attention that they deserve, and to providing culturally competent care.
